Our Projects

Our projects are geared towards accelerating access to mental health administration
and empowering young people with skills development.

Mental Health Support Groups

In-My-Head Mental Health Support Group is a monthly safe space for young people to have several discussion about mental health concerns and utilize story telling and anonymous formats to reach the audience.

Expected Activities (not limited to):
– Identification of partners (location, practitioners etc)
– Online and Offline publicity to reach target groups
– Physical/Virtual Monthly Meetings: this takes anonymous formats
– Review of Meeting and feedback forms: feedback forms are given etc

Mental Health Administration Programs

In-My-Head Mentally Aware Global Citizens (IMH MAGs): The idea is to raise awareness on mental health and global citizenship, empowering young people aged 15-21 with essential soft skills and connect them to experiential learning with partnered organizations as an intern, to enable them to thrive and impact their community.

Expected Activities:

-Identify Schools before WAEC and NECO ends

– Outreach to school (mostly covered by Mental Health Awareness)

-Identify resource persons and partners

– Publicity and call for applications

– 2-5 days training covering mental health, work ethics, ethical leadership, personal branding, SDGs and Global citizenship.

– 1 Month Internship
– Graduation (certificates and awards given out)

Mental Health Awareness

Outreach to Secondary Schools to Create Awareness on Mental Health and Global citizenship with target groups in SS2 and SS3 Classes. This is also an opportunity to publicize IMH MAGs.

Expected Activities:

– (Outreach to Secondary Schools on World Health Day)
– Identify targeted Secondary schools
-Reach out to Principals and Head of schools

– Carry out trainings for volunteers

– Outreach commence and evaluation taken
